IAP’s Mission & Objectives

 
MISSION

The Institute of Aviation Professionals (IAP) is established in 2011 as a professional development and training institute to provide academic and technical expertise for aviation professionals within Asia.

It is in the business to provide aeronautical engineering and other specialised ancillary training courses for aviation professionals and students toward success in the ever dynamic, global aerospace industry.

Moreover, IAP believes in its mission to contribute toward sustainable ASEAN economic growth and the integration of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), through the development of the civil aviation sector.

To achieve its mission, IAP would like to work with the main regulatory bodies that operate internationally with relevance on ASEAN, especially on safety, security and environmental issues, are the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Airports Council International (ACI).

VISION

IAP’s vision is to stimulate economic growth through the sustainable growth of air transport, while seeking to reduce the environmental impact, and narrow the differences in levels of development of the aviation sector within ASEAN region, through co-operation within ASEAN and with international regulatory bodies and stakeholders.

IAP envisions in the intra – Asean economic growth and integration and more importantly economic growth and integration with the other economic blocs around the world, especially with emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC).

To achieve our vision we seek to nurture our collaboration with both the industry regulators and the individual stakeholders within the industry of member states in ASEAN that are at lower levels of development in the aviation sector. They need to fulfill the requirements of international standards, to compete in the market and to achieve growth concurrently.

OBJECTIVES

To promote a high degree of professionalism among aviation maintenance personnel;

To foster and improve methods, skills, learning, and  achievement in the field to Aviation Maintenance;

To conduct national, state, and local meetings and seminars; recognize achievement in our field;

To publish, distribute, and disseminate news, technical bulletins, journals and other organizations in aviation;

To be the leading aeronautical, professional training institute of choice within the Asia-Pacific region.

Furthermore, API is dedicated to encouraging continuing education and professional development of all aviation professionals and students.

Quality Assurance System

IAP has a Quality Management System in place to enhance our customer satisfaction and ensure consistent quality service level. In the unlikely event that the trainer is unable to attend to a class, prior notice shall be given to the students and a make-up lesson will be arranged on another day.
