Association of Asian Aerospace Professionals (AAAP) was formally
constituted in 9th May 2006 the main object is to promote, encourage
and contribute to the growth and development of aerospace professionals
in Asia; to promote the acquisition of knowledge, skills and expertise
of aerospace professionals; and for Members to associate together in
social and professional co-operation for mutual advantage.

Annual
Dinner and Gold Medal Award
This

aviation and aerospace industry Moon Chin Aerospace Investment Trust
Fund — a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNAC, Ltd, Hong Kong — is investing
RMB500 million to set up an invest trust fund in China.
The fund will fuel the
growth of the aviation and aerospace industry in China.
The government will match the same amount of investment with every RMB
invested by Moon Chin Trust Fund and overseas investors into any
projects, events, activities that relate to aviation and aerospace
manufacturing, aerospace and space research, human resource development
and other aviation and aerospace related activities.

In
late
1940 or early 1941, it became evident that alternate supply routes into
China
would be needed since the British foothold in Hongkong was
precarious....The new air
base would have to be at or near a seaport, riverport or
railhead; the distance
into China would have to be within range of the aircraft and short
enough for
economic operations; the base had to be comparatively secure from
Japanese
attack; it had to be in a country which would permit CNAC to operate.
